Martin Henn began his piano maker career in 1980 at a piano manufacturer in Bremen. In 1992 he set up his own business as a master piano maker. The following years Marin Henn worked mainly in Bremen and the area around for private clients, recording studios and concert promoters. He was in charge for the grand pianos and the uprights at the College of Arts in Bremen for more than 20 years.
From 2005 Martin Henn gained experiences abroad. A long friendship to Alfred Brendel combined with many travels developed from a single commitment to the pianist at the concert house »Glocke« in Bremen. This travel activities led to more engagements of Martin Henn at the most distinguished concert halls, such as in Berlin, Leipzig, Vienna, Paris, Geneva, Lisbon, London, Bilbao, Caracas, Seoul and Buenos Aires among others. He worked for well known pianists e.g. Daniel Barenboim, András Schiff, Elisabeth Leonskaja, Pierre-Laurent Aimard, Igor Levit, Yuja Wang and many more.
All this greatly expanded Martin Henn's spectrum and it is an exciting addition to his work in the Sendesaal Bremen, which is one of his favourites.
