Your stay at the Sendesaal studio
Useful information for guests from abroad
Besides its excellent technical and acoustic credentials the Sendesaal compound offers more conveniences. Here is some info about it.
Catering / Provision of food and drink
Just in the same building of Sendesaal and studios there is a good restaurant »Geerdes am Sendesaal«. During the recording days you can eat, drink and relax there. If you plan for a larger production, you can individually negotiate with the restaurant supply and opening hours. They are ready to offer you taylor-made solutions. We are ready to make the connection for you.

Travel
Sendesaal Bremen is located only few minutes from Autobahn exit A27 / Bremen-Vahr. Free parking just next to the venue. Loading ramp for equipment 10 meters from stage.
From the main station you can reach the studios by public transportation (Bus No 24, stop Heinrich-Hertz-Str./Am Sendesaal) – or it is a 10 minutes taxi ride (Sendesaal Bremen, Bürgermeister-Spitta-Allee 45, 28329 Bremen).
Bremen has a small but international airport and even is a Ryan Air base with easy and cheap connections to many European cities. The airport is rather central – it is only a 12 minutes tram ride (Line 6) to the main station. A taxi takes 25 minutes from the airport to the Sendesaal.

In general the level of expenses in Bremen for transportation, food and hotels comply with average German standards – thus they are far below those of European metropoles and even much below many European countries in general (i. e. UK, Nordic Countries, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxemburg or Austria).
